The brand-new component loudspeakers of the PVF series use for the first time the completely new tweeter PTF 40. Developed on the basis of the innovative WideSphere™-Technology found also in the new QSF Nano, PTF 40, with its inverted titanium dome provides extremely good resonance and radiation characteristics. The PVF series uses two-piece loudspeaker baskets of exclusively carbon-fibre-reinforced plastic composite with edge-wound 1”/25 mm voice coils and special silver-painted metal covers for optimum protection and effective cooling of the magnet system. The new Premium Performance crossover uses choice components and the innovative rotary tweeter-level attenuator. Together with the high-flexibility FleXX Mount installation technique and Bi-Wiring/-Amping connection capability, the crossover offers function well in excess of those normally found in its class.
